Fun Fact
Ely Cathedral is 161 metres (537 feet) long - the fourth longest of the English Cathedrals!
The Nave
The Nave is 75 metres (248 feet) long, the width of the Nave and aisles is 24 metres (78 feet) and the height of the Nave ceiling is 32 metres (105 feet).
The Octagon
The Octagon Tower is 52 metres (170 feet) high, 23 metres (74 feet) wide and it's 43 metres (142 feet) from the Cathedral floor to the central roof boss.
The Lady Chapel
The Lady Chapel is 30 metres (100 feet) long, 14 metres (46 feet) wide and 18 metres (60 feet) high.
The West Tower
The West Tower is 66 metres (215 feet) high - that's 288 steps and the view from the top is amazing!
